The Musée Maritime du Québec had 50 years in 2018. For this event, the museum launched a new permaent exhibition called “Chalouperie”. Located at L’Islet, in the Chaudiere-Appalache area, The “Musée Maritime” dedicates to the souvenir of explorer Joseph-Elzéar Bernier. Many objects and old documentation are visible in the museums such as : Icebreaker Ernest Lapointe, Hydrofoil boat Bras-d’Or 400, and a complete collection of boats.
10 video players have been installed at the entrance and along the way. All of them are synchronized with Event Player. Video are synchronized with lights to highlight some objects during the narration.
Jean Robert De Roo : « I made the choice of VP320 because of their reliability and their efficency. the exhibition runs from 10AM to 6PM every day during summer. Then the museum closes from october to june. The building has no heater nor insulation. With hot summer and humid winters, the equipment are really stressed. »
