New contactless interactivity for museums!

We are pleased to present our latest contactless interactivity solution for museums. Developed for Clos Lucé, the technology can adapt to all situations of interactivity.  In this first example, the installation takes place at the heart of the exhibition on the life and work of Leonardo da Vinci at Clos Lucé.

Interactivité sans contact pour les musées

This creative work exploits the technological richness of our products. The structure represents forms thought by the inventor in “levitation” over a platform. Like a harp, the visitor can play on this immaterial instrument a melody thought by Leonardo himself. All they have to do is reach out to the hanging objects.

Contactless interactivity for museums

The customer didn’t want anything on the ceiling, which is why we invented the IRCAM camera. Infrared optical sensors are integrated into the base and measure the heat of a hand regardless of its size, position and distance. With IRCAM, ambient thermal noise is measured and subtracted to improve detection performance.  Each camera triggers a dry contact to an audio player. The player is polyphonic and allows media overlay. On ignition, it takes less than 2 minutes to initialize the system. The system adapts to all dimensions. The sensor network can be expanded at will to accommodate all ideas of contactless interactivity for museums.

You feel the soul of an inventor and want to try the solution? Discover this exhibition from 25 June 2021 and the superb Waves System project! And to adapt IRCAM in your projects, contact us!
